Burton is a Partner with Lewis Miller Personal Financial Advisors and is our Administrative Associate and helps keep the firm running smoothly. He has been in the financial services industry for over 40 years and was always interested in the profession as his family had ownership in two small banks when he was growing up. He was always interested in how they worked, so he started his career at Central Bank in Monroe. A few mergers and acquisitions later, Burton found himself working for JPMorgan Chase. From there, he came to Lewis Miller, where he helps address the many needs of our firm and clients. Burton loves the face to face relationships he is able to foster with clients and the difference the firm makes in their lives. Burton got his MBA in Finance from Louisiana State University.
Burton is originally from St. Joseph, Louisiana, but has lived in Monroe since 1974. He and his wife, Nancy, have two children, Kate and Burton III, and two dogs, Rookie and Jack. In his free time, Burton enjoys cooking, reading, and yoga. He is also very involved in his church and focuses on Adult Formation (religious and spiritual studies). He is also very active as a Stephen Misters through his church. Stephen Misters are trained to provide peer to peer counseling to those who are facing crisis
